[Tanaka grinned at the texts. It made him feel a bit better that he wouldn't be feeling like hell by himself in his room.]

[Okay, so his face might be super red from the heart he sent. Well, Yuu sent those heart and kisses, he was sure that's what they meant, he had to send something back. Tanaka looked around for some sweatpants and a t-shirt to throw on before Yuu got there. He could do that without feeling too bad at least.]

[the text heart makes his skip a beat. and he's so giddy for a moment that he practically rushes now- the less than favorable evening rapidly disappearing in his mind. so he packs little things he knows ryuu likes- but nothing that will upset his stomach.

once he has everything he's almost sprinting to the tanaka household, and thankfully the door was unlocked. he didn't want to get creative, he wanted to see ryuu.

but of course this is nishinoya and this is ryuu, and maybe he needed a bit of payback for last night.

he is BURSTING THROUGH THE DOOR.

LOUDLY.]

HEY, RYUU!!!

[how's that hangover, friend?]

[Ryuu waited for Yuu and tried to make things a little more presentable. He shuffled back to his bed when he heard Yuu come in through the door. Well, his hangover was doing alright, until he heard the door and Yuu's voice. Alright so he could understand why Yuu did that, last night was a bit of a disaster, though it didn't help his headache.

With a hand to his head, he took a breath and called out.]

IN HERE!

[Alright so that wasn't the best option, but he had to match back his greeting. He had to.]

[his laugh is loud and boisterous as he enters ryuu's room, hands on his hips.]

I knew where you were, dummy. I just wanted to hurt your head a little bit.

[he's ALLOWED to. but his smile softens when he sees him and he approaches him on the bed. and manhandling him in a way only a boyfriend could, he moves so he can sit with ryuu between his legs, propped up against his chest. he was bigger, but they could do this comfortably, and this way he can still wrap around him but still care for him and give him food and water.

reaching over he grabs the bag he set down, sitting it in ryuu's lap.]

Okay, so. Rummage in there for stuff. I got you some sandwiches, bottles of water and I have a bottle of tylenol in there for you. See? I'm the best. [kissing the top of his head.]

I'm surprised, you don't look like shit. [grin.]

[Ryuu laughed as he threw the closest shirt at him. While he knew Yuu did have the right after last night, he couldn't resist do it. When Yuu rearranged him when he leaned against him with a pleased sigh. He thanked Yuu for the bag and started to rummaged through it.

He grinned as he pulled out a bottle of water and a sandwich. He also like the kiss on the top of his head and placed his hand over Yuu to squeeze a bit before he started on the food.]

You are always the best. No hangover couldn't stop my hotness. [He boasted with a thumb pointed to his chest. He looked up at him with a smile.] Still want to kiss me?

[and while ryuu starts to eat, nishinoya did as he promised; fingertips grazing at the small layer of hair, he loved out it felt. it was soft like velvet and a pleasure to touch. and while nishinoya could be loud and boisterous, he was always quiet and intent when he concentrated on the important things, like nursing his hungover idiot back to health.

he's done this head massage a million times before, even before they started dating. it soothed him so it always felt like the right thing to do. so he gently starts to rub and massage at certain points of tanaka's head, humming softly as he does so.

he gives a soft laugh at his words.][and he gives the longest thoughtful pause he could muster.]

Hm.... I dunno. [but you can hear the grin in his voice.]

Of course. I always do!

[Tanaka hummed when he felt that wonderful massage against his head. Noya used to do it for him before they started dating and they still felt amazing. He groaned around the last piece of sandwich he had in his hand before he looked back up at him when Noya paused. Ryuu grinned when he heard the one in Noya's voice. He placed the bag out of his lap and sat up a bit to slip his fingers in Yuu's hair and lean close for a kiss.]

Me too. [He whispered before he kissed him with a soft moan. He turned around a bit more to wrap his arms around his waist during the kiss.

[he gives the most delighted sound at the kiss, laughing against ryuu's lips, trying to push him away with no success- because he didn't really want to. arms loosely wrapping around his neck. he tasted like water and the sandwich, and that was ridiculous... but he loved it all the same.

loved him.

but finally he breaks it, huffing up at him.]

You're supposed to be resting, Ryuu.

[Ryuu loved the little noises Yuu would make. The way he would playfully push him away then wrap his arms around him and bring him closer. He loved him so much. Whenever he thought about it, it really made him giddy. When Yuu broke the kiss he chuckled at his huffs.]

What do you mean? I am resting. There's nothing wrong with getting some kisses in between that right? [He nuzzled his neck gently before he moved to rest on his side and take Yuu with him.] Cuddling and resting are the same, it's good.

You just want kisses. [but he's not complaining, how can he? he tugs him in closer for another kiss. ...and another. he couldn't help himself and he couldn't stop. he loved this big dumb idiot. his best friend.

was it okay to say it in person? with texting it was scary... but.

ryuu said it back.

he just supposed he expected it to be romantic and not when ryuu was hungover and not at his best. so being curled up with him, in the wake of a pretty gross night and in the afternoon of a bad hangover, he finds himself looking at him in a different way, fingertips tracing the curve of his cheek and the line of his jaw.

his heartbeat was so fast, the butterflies starting in his stomach.]

...I love you.

Maybe. [Well, yes, he wanted many kisses. He couldn't help it whenever he was around Yuu he always felt the urge to hold him and kiss him many times. He loved being around Yuu so much.

He loved Yuu very much.

He worried that he did mess up after last night. It wasn't his best moment and he hoped Saeko never found out or she would kick his butt from here to Tokyo and back. But Yuu was with him curled up against his side and giving him such sweet kisses. He may have a bad hangover, but with Yuu by his side everything felt so much better.

Ryuu smiled at the fingertips that traced along his cheek then his jaw. Those fingers that he loved so much. He leaned into them when he heard it. Ryuu felt his heart pound as he swallowed his dry throat.

Yuu loved him. That was so big his mind went blank, but in a good way. He acted before he could think. He placed a hand against his cheek and looked in his eyes with the gentlest look he could give. He trailed his thumb along Yuu's bottom lip as he licked his own.]

Yuu...I love you too...[He felt butterflies in his stomach while he heart pounded so hard in his chest, but he loved that he could say it. He leaned forward and pressed the sweetest kiss he could against his lips.]

[saying it made him feel different. and hearing it made it even better. his breath hitches in his throat when ryuu says the words, echoing his own. now, nishinoya was practically notorious for his smiles and they could light up a room- but now...

but now.

he would be embarrassed about the tears in his eyes later, his smile could rival the sun with it's intensity, brightness and warmth. his arms are snug around ryuu's neck and he returns the kiss, again and again- following each press of his lips a mumbled 'i love you'.

he was allowed to get sappy sometimes.]

[There was something about saying it and hearing it too from the person he cared about the most. Then there was that smile, knowing he put that smile on his face made Ryuu feel even better than he's ever had before. He saw the tears in Yuu's eyes and honestly he was fighting back tears himself because Yuu loved him. He loved him, but he could think about it later.

Ryuu never saw him smile so bright before. Man, he would never forget that smile.

Or Yuu's arms snug around his neck as he returns each sweet kiss with a mumbled, 'me too'.

He could get used to say it more often.]

[slowly he pulls back, idly licking his lips so he can taste the kiss they just had. ah. that was pretty damn amazing, wasn't it? and he was having a hard time keeping his hands off of him, fingertips trailing down ryuu's clothed chest, and he bites his bottom lip as he follows the trail his own hand was making.

...ah.

ryuu was too hungover for sex.

but.

he was here to make him feel better, right?]

...Hey, Ryuu. Lay back for me, would you?

[Ryuu panted softly as he licked his lips with a pleased hum. Damn, that kiss was amazing. He looked down at the way Yuu's fingers trailed down his chest. He sighed softly from pleasure as he rubbed his hip. Of all the times to be hungover, he would have pulled Yuu close and rocked against him. He couldn't do that though.

Now he had another reason not to drink tequila anymore.

Ryuu looked up at his request as he nodded and moved to lay back.]

No prob, got something planned?

Something.

[he pushes ryuu's shirt up so he can lean down and plant warm kisses down his well sculpted torso. there was no wondering why ryuu's spikes were so strong, and why he was a shoe-in for their new ace once asahi-san graduated. he was... magnificent, really.

his hands smoothing down the taller boy's sides, exploring every bare inch he can.

easing down a bit, lowering himself as he nudged ryuu's legs apart. he takes the time to lay between them, resting his chin on a hip while fingertips trace the length of him through his shorts.]

...Can I make you feel good, Ryuu?
